On the occasion of International Museum Day, we invite you to visit the Spahijski podrum on Monday, May 18th, admission is free for all visitors (11:00 – 17:30). At 18:00, we invite you to an interactive children’s show:
“My Grandmother’s Diary of Memories” PUNA KUĆA Theatre
The performance, intended for children aged 3 to 10, takes the youngest through the world of memories, objects and stories of our grandparents, connecting them with the past and family heritage in an interesting and interactive way.

On Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM, an interesting lecture awaits you in the Spahijski podrum (Julijana Hall):
“Grandpa, did you have a grandfather?”
Presentation of the Croatian Genealogical Society “Pavao Ritter Vitezović”
Long-time member of the Society, Vladimir Matek, will present the history and work of the Society and explain the methods and importance of genealogical research – research that connects us to our own roots, family history, and identity.
The lecture will be accompanied by a commemorative exhibition marking 20 years of the Croatian Genealogical Society, and after the program, visitors will be able to receive additional information and advice related to their own research into family trees and archival materials.
